I've had many requests for a way in which to have
discussions on this site. Therefore, I've started the Psychic
Discussion Mail List (ListServe).
A ListServe Mail list is a "discussion group" that you can
"subscribe" and participate in by email. You will receive emails
from others who are subscribed to the list, as well as being able to send
email to the entire group.
This list is for discussion about psychic and metaphysical topics.
Our purpose is to provide a warm, friendly, and safe place to
correspond with others. Our members come from all over the world,
and many different walks-of-life.
We DO often have "off-topic" posts - and I do not discourage this.
Our posts range from the serious to the silly. If you are expecting
(or looking for) a list where ONLY posts about psychic development
and topics are discussed - this list is not for you. True, it is
what we mostly discuss - but I decided long ago to make this a place
where people can make friends with others who are interested in the
same things.
We have very few rules on this list. I consider this list to
be "semi-moderated" and "semi-private". We do accept subscription
requests openly, but I reserve the right to unsub anyone who does
not adhere to our rules.
Personally, I don't like to even have to list a bunch of rules - but
they exist for the enjoyment of all members so that we have a
comfortable place in which to join. This list has existed for many
years, and we have come to find that some rules do allow a safer
haven.
Unlike other lists, we don't consider it necessary to "lurk" for
awhile before posting. As long as you have read the below rules (and
agree to adhere to them) - feel free to jump right in and introduce
yourself. Yes, we have a lot of "fluff" - but please feel free to
ask questions about metaphysical topics. We enjoy serious
discussion too! The subscribe address follows the rules...
The Rules:
- No advertisements of any kind.
- Spams will not be tolerated at all and are grounds for
immediate removal from the list without notice.
- Do not consider this an open forum to advertise your
services whatever they may be. Absolutely no
advertising of services or products will be allowed in
the body of a posting. SHORT sig files may
be used, where you may place an URL, but they
must be two lines or less.
If you are a reader or practitioner, it is fine to
mention this in an introduction as long as you don't
do an "advertisement". (i.e., "hi, I am so-and-so,
and I read tarot cards (whatever)" is fine - but: "I
charge $XX and call me at: 555-5555 is NOT)
You will notice that people on the list DO talk about
what they do from time to time - and I have no problem
with this as long as the guidelines are followed.
- No soliciting allowed. Gathering email addresses from
posts and soliciting members will be considered a
violation of the rules.
- No abuse of any other member will be allowed.
If you disagree with someone - it MUST be remembered
that it is the OPINION that you do not agree with. Do NOT
post attacks on other members personally.
I certainly understand that not everyone will agree with
all opinions expressed, and it is not my intention to
censor discussion. However, it CAN (and must)
be done without personally attacking another
listmember. I have little tolerence for those who cannot
refrain from hurting other member's feelings.
- THIS IS NOT A PSYCHIC HOTLINE!
Yes, many of our members are psychics, astrologers, etc.
However, the purpose of this list is NOT for people to
join to see if they can get readings "from a bunch of
psychics".
- Watch your language! Excessive or consistent profanity will
not be tolerated. Please remember that our
listmembers range widely in age, and others may
be offended. An occasional slip happens - but if someone
consistently uses profanity, they will be removed.
There are two versions of this list - the regular list and the DIGEST
mode.
If you have subscribed to the regular list and wish to change over to
the DIGEST version, you should unsubscribe from the regular list and
then subscribe separately to the DIGEST version (or you will receive
both!).
When you subscribe, you will be sent two emails. One will tell you that
you must send back a "confirm" email. The other email will give the text
string that you must send back to the majordomo address. This will confirm
that you are subscribing a valid address.
Then, you will receive an email telling you that your subscription request
must be "approved" by the list owner. In most cases, I will do this
automatically. This is not meant to censor anyone but spammers!
For the regular list:

with: subscribe psychic in the body of the email.
**note - you can add: subscribe psychic [youremailaddress] if you
want to subscribe an address different from where you are sending it
from. However, a "confirm" email will be sent to that address - and
you must reply from that address for the subscription to take effect.

TO POST:
When you subscribe, you will be sent an email with
the posting address. Since many bulk emailers scour web pages for email
addresses - I will not list it here - or make a live link to the
subscription address. I apologize that you cannot subscribe directly from
this page - but spammers spoil it for everyone!
