Psychic and Spirit Enrichment Retreat IN CASSADAGA, FLORIDA

Workshop closed at this time - check back for the next dates!

Want to earn money while doing your Christmas shopping? Let me give you a FREE shopping mall of your very own! This is absolutely free to join.

I LIKE MyPowerMall a lot. I have a printer that uses very expensive ink cartridges and has five of them. I found the cartridges in one of the stores for less than HALF the price! (free shipping too). There are over 1,000 stores and these are stores and brand-names you know! Save money while earning money. Save money while you shop for things you already buy.

Can't go at that time or want a Private Workshop? Click here for details on how to do that!

Mystical Cassadaga is located in Central Florida. Near Disney World and not far from the Orlando Airport. (MCO).

Scenes from Cassadaga

We'll stay at the very old Cassadaga Hotel (full of interesting spirits) . It is retreat-style, meaning it's spread out over a couple of days, and we'll all stay in the same hotel. I have found this creates a wonderful bonding experience and huge healing leaps. It's also fun! Participants who live nearby may commute if you wish, but I highly recommend staying if at all possible.

The fees (when posted) will include ALL charges and fees for the above workshops, however food and lodging is separate. You will need to call the hotel and book your own room at 386-228-2323. You can mention my name (Holly) for the retreat experience. The hotel is very reasonable and has varying sizes of rooms, making it easy to share with other people if you wish to do so. A light breakfast is included with the hotel stay. There is a wonderful Cafe - The Lost in Time Cafe - available at the hotel that is quite reasonable in price and selection. The web site for the hotel itself is here. I recommend browsing around their site so you can see what a lovely, quaint place this is! I LOVE the porch and sit out there all the time!!

We'll also be able to participate in other camp activities and there will be plenty of free time to explore the shops, walk around the lovely grounds, get readings, or just plain relax.

This Psychic and Spirit Enrichment Retreat WILL have limited availability. If you want to guarantee a spot for yourself - there will be a $5 non-refundable deposit.

SEPTEMBER PSYCHIC AND SPIRIT ENRICHMENT WORKSHOP/RETREAT PAGE

I chose Cassadaga because of the incredible energy there. The grounds are lovely and it's a beautiful place to stay and recharge your spiritual and physical batteries. I always do my workshop/retreats in areas that have special energy, which is why I did so many in Sedona, Arizona. (I will do some there again in the future).

Calling itself a "metaphysical mecca," the small town of Cassadaga, between Orlando and Daytona Beach in Central Florida, was established more than a century ago on the principle of continuous life, the idea that the spirits of the dead commune with the living. Though the founders of Cassadaga have passed on to the "spirit plane," the quaint Victorian town remains the oldest continuously active Spiritualist center in the South and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

Cassadaga is a spiritualist community that was founded in 1894 by medium George P. Colby from Pike, New York. As a young man from New York, George Colby was told during a séance that he would someday be instrumental in founding a Spiritualist community in the South. That prophecy was fulfilled in 1875, when Colby was led through the wilderness of Central Florida by his spirit guide "Seneca" to an area surrounded by uncommon hills.

Colby is thought to have been suffering tuberculosis, an infectious disease caused by bacteria, which affects the lungs when he arrived in the area. In Colby's era TB was referred to as "Consumption" because without effective treatment, these patients often would waste away. Legend has it that a small spring located on the homestead provided the elixir that healed him.

The location was chosen for its unique energy level. The word Cassadaga is a term used by the Seneca Indians meaning, "Rocks beneath the water." Through the years, many psychics have enjoyed reading in Cassadaga due to the ethereal vibrations with Spirit and clients with utmost clarity. These special etheric vibrations emanate from the earth itself, sometimes called Ley Lines or energy Hot Spots.

Often referred to as "The Psychic Center of the World", Cassadaga continues today as a premiere psychic community and is home to some of America’s finest psychics.

Cassadaga was established with the intention of it being a haven for Spiritualists who wished to escape the cold of winter while practicing their religious beliefs. The first people who came to Cassadaga were well educated and financially affluent. They pitched tents or stayed in nearby hotels until cottages could be erected in which to reside.

Over the years, the Association has become known as "the Camp." Today there are no camping facilities; "Camp Meeting" is an old term that was used to designate the annual gathering of religious groups.

It is much like Lily Dale in NY (sometimes spelled as either Lillydale or Lilydale). There have been several television programs that have featured Cassadaga. It's well known for orbs that often show up in photographs as well as a program on the History Channel about the seances held there. (we will have one of those mediums, Victor Vogenitz, conducting a seance for our workshop/retreat).If you would like to know more about Cassadaga itself, visit their official web site. Please note that link leads to their website and does not have information about this Retreat.
